What is this course about?
This course will walk you through the foundational skills to get you on track to writing successful grant proposals. This self-study course comprises of four learning resources, called lessons:
- Lesson 1: Preparing to write a grant proposal
- Lesson 2: Preparing a CV
- Lesson 3: Writing a grant proposal
- Lesson 4: Writing style for a grant proposal
Additionally, there are a couple of bonus resources that follow on after the lessons.
What are the learning outcomes of the course?
- Carry out essential preparatory steps before writing a grant proposal, including searching for grant opportunities
- Prepare a suitable CV as a supplement to a grant proposal
- Write a well-structured grant proposal
- Use an effective writing style in a grant proposal
Around how much time will this course take?
Learners on the course should set aside at least 6 hours to complete it. We recommend that you complete the course within 3 weeks of starting.
What are the completion criteria?
To complete the course and receive a certificate showing your completion, you need to:
- Complete the pre-course survey
- Go through all the learning resources
- Pass the check-your-understanding quiz (unlimited attempts are allowed on the quiz)
- Complete the feedback survey
