Biografía:
Lucian V. Ngeze is a Lecturer in the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, since 2010. As the Head of Department of Virtual Education Delivery, he steered up the installation, customization and configuration of Moodle at the University of Dodoma, including faculty training between 2013-2016. He hosts his own Moodle platform where he manages different Online Courses he offers to educators at different levels. Apart from managing Moodle, Lucian has also managed IITBombayX (a platform powered by edX, used by IIT Bombay) and Swayam (the biggest platform for MOOCs in India), involving in MOOC designs, setup on the platform and orchestration. Lucian is currently a PhD Research Scholar in Educational Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. His areas of research include: Learner-centric Online Courses and MOOC Design, Instructional Design, Technology enhanced Teaching and Learning. Till now, he has developed four online courses configured in Moodle, with more than 800 educators benefiting. Currently, “Teacher Professional Development for Remote Teaching” developed as part of the Open Education for a Better World programme under UNESCO is running.
