Reviewer of scientific publications and Editor of the scientific journal Revista Magistra. Has experience in the field of Ecology and Systematics, with emphasis on Orthoptera, working mainly on the following topics: taxonomy, systematics, ecology, biogeography, behavior and evolution. He held the position of Vice Dean of the Center for Agrarian, Environmental and Biological Sciences of UFRB, in the period 2009-2013 and currently coordinates the Biodiversity Knowledge Area of ​​UFRB.
