Biography:
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999), Master's Degree in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation by the Federal University of Mato Grosso (2002) and Doctor's Degree in Biological Sciences - University of La República, Uruguay (2006) . He is Associate Professor at the Center for Agrarian, Environmental and Biological Sciences (CCAAB), Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB). Accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Agrarian Sciences and in the PPG of Professional Master's Degree in Agricultural and Livestock Protection, from the same institution. Reviewer of scientific publications and Editor of the scientific journal Revista Magistra. Has experience in the field of Ecology and Systematics, with emphasis on Orthoptera, working mainly on the following topics: taxonomy, systematics, ecology, biogeography, behavior and evolution. He held the position of Vice Dean of the Center for Agrarian, Environmental and Biological Sciences of UFRB, in the period 2009-2013 and currently coordinates the Biodiversity Knowledge Area of ​​UFRB.
