Biography:
Nsikak-Abasi Aniefiok Etim obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric.)(First Class Honours from University of Uyo, Nigeria. He earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Resource and Environmental Economics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria. He is a Senior Lecturer in University of Uyo, Nigeria. His areas of research are Development, Resource and Environmental Economics with foci on poverty and efficiency issues in the contexts of production and environment. Dr. Etim has distinguished himself as an erudite scholar and a prolific writer. He has authored over (80) full length peer reviewed scientific articles in reputable national and international journals and 2 book chapters with citations more than 580 ( h-index 14 and i10-index 21). Dr. Etim is an advisory mentor in the Queen’s Young Leaders Mentoring Program, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Etim was also chosen to serve as a mentor for young women in Commonwealth Mentorship Program, United Kingdom. He was a mentor in #AfricaVsVirus Challenge 2020.
