Biography:
An enthusiastic and self motivated, committed to work for the welfare of fellow citizens. I teach a few core modules like Ecophysiology of Plants, Plant Diversity including Endophytes and Ethnobotany to undergrads and 4 years honors programme. Teaching undergraduate students has always been my self impetus in itself. The most important thing I like about teaching is I get a complete sense of contentment and happiness teaching my students and also learning from them. Other one is, it is a profession I believe that provides learning to learn kind of environment. Teaching in the university provides me with all the resources to improve my career prospects, carry out researches which are useful to my fellow citizens and learning as never ending process. I am an ardent organic gardener and I eat what I grow mostly. I believe so much in team spirit, hard work and happy life. I strongly deem that living in harmony with nature is happiness, which is the basic aspiration of human life and that should be the ultimate purpose of life. My strength: Good patience, Harding working, Habit of working in the lab for long hours, Prefer field based observation and experiment, Team work ability.
