Biography:
I was born on 9th February, 1979 in Accra, Ghana. I come from Kpando in the Volta Region of Ghana. I had my basic education at Datus Complex in Dansoman, Accra. My secondary education was at the Kpando Secondary School from 1995 to 1997. I completed my training as a general nurse in February, 2002 and the post basic midwifery training in October, 2007. I obtained Diploma with distinction, Bachelor of science in Nursing, First Class Honours and Master of Public Health all from the University of Ghana. I was awarded a PhD Public Health from the School of Public Health, University of Ghana on 31st July, 2021. I am the Faculty Chairperson for Maternal and Child Health at the Ghana Chapter of West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (WAPCNM). I have worked at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra since 1st June, 2002 to date. I am currently the Deputy Chief Midwifery Officer for the Nursing and Midwifery Practice Unit.
