[Texto en Español mas abajo:] Hello, Mr. SALCEDO is a long time (+17 years) Electronics, RF and Telecommunications professional, with a Specialist Degree from the "Simon Bolivar University" (Caracas-Venezuela), since 7~8 years ago, has been involved in Research, mainly in surface weather instruments, he is now looking for opportunities on Research and/or the Telecom arena, he was former Part time Associated Researcher at Private University “Rafael Belloso Chacin”, (Maracaibo-Venezuela), Laboratory for Climate Observation, this Lab belongs to the Center for Technological Development and Engineering; the main research line is developing low cost electronic weather instruments for Educational use (College and Schools), they also do some research on Climate Change and Ultraviolet Index incidence on human beings and Thesis tutoring to Pre & Post graduate students. Mr. SALCEDO was in the past Head (On Charge) of the Meteorologic Unit (UM-IVIC), an small research support unit that belonged to the principal Research Science institute in Venezuela, the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research, now works as on-call Technical Advisor on Wireless systems for a consultancy Engineering firm in USA, also he is Voluntary firefighter since more than 20 years ago, specialized in structural urban fire suppression & vehicular rescue. Willing to learn from your cultures and knowledge and always open to Research opportunities. Best Regards, Marco-Luis [Presentación en Español:] Hola, Les escribe Marco-Luis SALCEDO, Especialista en Electrónica, RF y Telecomunicaciones con mas de 17 años de experiencia, Especialista en Telecomunicaciones de la "Universidad Simón Bolívar" (Caracas-Venezuela). Desde hace unos 7 ~ 8 años, he estado involucrado en Investigación, principalmente en el desarrollo de instrumentos meteorológicos electrónicos de bajo costo para uso educativo en Escuelas, tambien dedic parte de mi tiempo al estudio del Indice Ultravioleta asi como tutoría de tesis para estudiantes de pre y posgrado. Desde su fundación, fuí Jefe (E) de la Unidad de Meteorología (UM-IVIC), una pequeña unidad de apoyo a la investigación que pertenecía al principal Instituto científico en Venezuela, el Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas. Miembro activo del Centro virtual de Meteorología. Actualmente me desempeño como Asesor Técnico en sistemas inalámbricos para una empresa de consultoría de ingeniería en EE.UU., también soy bombero voluntario desde hace más de 20 años, especializado en la supresion de incendios urbanos y estructurales y rescate vehicular.
