Acknowledging people who have helped you is a good practice. But make sure that they are willing to be acknowledged. And consider having them look at the wording of the acknowledgment, to help ensure that they are comfortable with it.

Thanks for the post message Mr Bernard.However it leaves me with mixed reactions as to whether one can refute acknowledgement!What i know human nature deserve praise which is normal in human beings, and recognition of someone for having done something for you falls in the line.I was imagining the kind of wording conveying a message of recognition that offends someone? Other people can talk their mind!thanks
