AuthorAID's main aim is to help researchers in developing countries to write about and publish their work. One way it does so is by helping early-career researchers find mentors who can help them with their writing and research.
As of July 2012, more than 5000 researchers and others, from more than 150 countries, have registered with AuthorAID. About 700 have registered as mentors.
