The International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development (ISSBD) will be holding a three day regional workshop (South and South East Asia region) on ‘Risk, Protection, and Resilience among Children at-risk: Research and Action Plans’ from Thursday, October 13 – Saturday, October 15,
2011 in Chandigarh, India.
There will also be parallel poster sessions/ workshops, ‘Meet the Senior Scientist Sessions’, and panel discussions for early career scholars. The ‘Meet the Senior Scientist’ session is conceptualised as an informal discussion between the early career scholars and senior scientists. The discussions, over lunch, will focus on the following broad themes:
* Career pathways and mentorship;
* Research funding opportunities; and
* Publishing
