This workshop, which was for water resources researchers, focused on two topics: revising research proposals and writing scientific papers. Dr Krishna Murthy, of the PES Institute of Technology (in India), gave lectures on the former topic. Prof Barbara Gastel, of Texas A&M University, gave lectures on the latter. Others spoke about other aspects of water resources research and its dissemination.
