Las becas para viaje y taller de AuthorAID ayudan a los invetigadores a participar en la conversación global de investigación

INASP anuncia los 12 ganadores de las becas para viaje y taller de AuthorAID. Un total de seis ganadores de becas para taller recibirán hasta US$ 2500 para realizar talleres. Los otros seis ganadores de becas para viaje recibirán hasta US$ 1500 cada uno para asistir a conferencias. Estos ganadores viajarán a Francia, Marruecos, Reino Unido, Portugal, y Estados Unidos para asistir a las conferencias.


Los ganadores de las becas para taller son:

1. Kevin Omar Sagastume Espinoza, Catedrático y director del Laboratorio de Zoología, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras, Honduras. Taller: Comunicando la investigación a académicos, legisladores, y el público en general.
   
    
2. MAKOUNAZI EKOMONO Chrissy Garel, Responsable de la animación del equipo de investigación Amélioration Génétique, Centre de Recherche sur la Durabilité et la Productivité des Plantations Industrielles, Congo Brazzaville. Taller: Escribiendo propuestas para becas de investigación.
   
    
3. Suad M. Sulaiman, Miembro del Comité Ejecutivo,  Sudanese National Academy of Sciences, Sudán. Taller: Cómo escribir y publicar un artículo científico.
   
    
4. GABA Olayèmi Ursula Charlène, Catedrático y asistente de investigación, University of Abomey-Calavi, West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Benín. Taller: Cómo escribir y publicar un artículo científico.
   
    
5. Prakash Mani Sharma, Director Ejecutivo, Forum for Protection of Public Interest (Pro Public), Nepal. Taller: Comunicando la investigación a los legisladores.
   
    
6. Haimanot Bichil, Director de Asuntos de Género, Debre Berhan University, Ethiopia. Taller: Cómo escribir y publicar un artículo científico.
   
    

Los ganadores de la beca para viaje son:

2. Alcade Christel Segnon, Candidato a doctorado, Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies, University of Ghana, Benin/Ghana. Conferencia: The Third African Congress for Conservation Biology en El Jadida, Marruecos. Presentando la investigación ‘The diversity and utilization of wild edible plants and their potentials for addressing food security in two contrasting (sub-humid vs. semi-arid) areas in Benin’.
   
    
3. Mulubirhan Assefa Alemayohu, Investigador y catedrático, Mekelle University, Ethiopia. Conferencia: The 7th African Nutrition Epidemiology Conference en Marrakesh, Marruecos. Presentando la investigación ‘Factors associated with breast feeding practice among pastoralist mothers in Eastern Ethiopia’. 
   
    
4. Hannah Benedicta Taylor-Abdulai, Catedrático, Accra Polytechnic, Ghana. Conferencia: The International World Congress on Tuberculosis and Lung Disease en Liverpool, Reino Unido. Presentando la investigación ‘Gender differences in disclosure among TB/HIV patients reporting in some health facilities in the Greater Accra region of Ghana’.
   
    
5. Aleia Júlio Reis Rachide Agy, Asistente de investigación, Observatório Do Meio Rural, Mozambique.
