Biography:
Daniel Tonga is an esteemed journalist, economist, author, and communications professional. He has served in various capacities, including Editor, Producer, and Head of the News Department at Prime Television Zambia. His journalistic work with Voice of America (VOA) has been pivotal in analyzing the economic and geopolitical dynamics of Zambia, with a particular focus on the impact of international firms on local businesses and the strategic interests of global powers in the region. He was a contributing researcher to 'An Enterprise Map of Zambia,' a book profiling leading Zambian companies, commissioned by the International Growth Centre (ICG) and the London School of Economics. He is also the author of 'Enemies of Truth' and has published several research papers in media and communication journals. He holds a Diploma in Journalism, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, a Master's Degree in Global Business Journalism, an MBA, and an MSc in Economics and Finance.
