Biography:
As a global health professional, Nsoh Marius majored in epidemiology at the Catholic University of Central Africa in Cameroon, where he earned a Master of Public Health. He later completed the Afya Bora Global Health Leadership Fellowship at the University of Washington (in Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania), during which he conducted research on “Predictors of Antiretroviral Therapy Interruptions and Factors Influencing Return to Care in the Nkolndongo Health District.” Prior to this, he worked as a Quality Improvement Officer with the HIV Free Project funded by PEPFAR through the CDC to support the Ministry of Health (MOH) in effective reporting, monitoring and assessment of progress made in the national HIV clinical cascade aimed at attaining the USAID 90 90 90. He served as the Bamenda Health District supervisor for Expanded Programs for Immunization Activities and Long-Lasting Malaria Insecticide Nets micro-plan, supervision of teams and distribution. In addition, Marius also has an interest in environmental and occupational health and has authored within this domain. He assumes a teaching assistant position at faculty, and he is working on a PhD with anticipates graduation in 2021.
