Hi there. I'm one of the editors of Nature Network, a networking site for scientists from Nature Publishing Group.

One of the most popular features of the site is our blogs section: http://network.nature.com/blogs

Here, scientists from around the world contribute blog posts about their working lives, the challenges they face every day in the lab, and generally talk about the scientific world. At the moment, most of our bloggers are from Europe and North America. We're really keen to hear from scientists in other parts of the world, particularly Africa, Asia and South/Central America.

We're looking for scientists with a reasonably good command of English, who could give the perspective of doing science in the regions I mentioned above, or have an unusual/interesting scientific role to tell the world about. You can post as frequently as you like. The blogs get plenty of readers and comments, so it's a great way to raise the profile of your research, institution or even your country's scientific achievements.

If you would be interested in blogging on Nature Network, please contact me (Matt Brown)  m.brown - at - nature.com
